I love BIG statements about God... "his understanding has no limits." The theological term would be Omniscience-- "omni" all, "scentia" knowledge.

God is limitless, He is BIG, He has complete knowledge of all things in every way, yet He's very close, healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds! I was struck by this at church Sunday morning listening to Phil Comer teach on prayer, one of his big ideas was simply "Prayer is a privilege." I know this at an intellectual level but functionally I think of prayer as duty, calling, spiritual discipline but at its base prayer is privilege, to be listened to, spoken to, healed, known and consoled by the God of Big and Small. The Psalmist declares that God is working on levels as varied as healing broken hearts all the way to determining the star population, He is working on the largest imaginable scale down to the intimate and intricate details of broken hearts. At what level of magnitude are you praying? For nations, governments and entire people groups or about a hurting child, your broken body, or tense relationships... He is GOD over it ALL!
Right now, wherever you are, give God the big and small and breathe a sigh of relief!
